Tips for applying

Applying to BIA is easy and does not pose major hurdles. How exactly this works is explained below.

Where can I find current job advertisements?

Under the menu item "Vacancies" you will find current vacancies in our group of companies. If you click on "Job description", you will receive a detailed description of the advertised job.

How do I apply for a job?

By clicking on "Apply Now" you will be directed to our application system. Fill in the form as completely as possible and upload your application documents (PDF only, maximum file size 15 MB). Do not forget to click on "Submit"!

Can I also apply proactively?

Of course. If there is currently no vacancy that matches your qualification profile and preferences, you find a entry „Initiativbewerbung“ in our job portal. Here you can apply via our application form. Alternatively, please send your application documents to: prsnlmngmntb-grpcm. We will then create a file for you in our applicant system and notify you should a suitable position become vacant.

What happens with my data?

Your personal data will be collected and processed solely for the purpose of the application process and will be treated in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.

What do I do if I have problems with the application portal?

If you encounter problems when submitting your application, please check:

  • if the latest version of your web browser is installed on your device. Older versions might not be supported. 
  • if submission from an alternate web browser is possible.
  • the settings of your web browser. Cookie blocking might reduce the functionality of our application form.

The application process

Job applications at BIA usually follow a structured process . Below is an overview of the most important steps.

When do I receive feedback on my application?

Following receipt of your documents, you will receive an interim decision from us. We take enough time to inspect your documents and check them with the relevant department. You will be informed as soon as we have made a decision.

How is the interview structured?

If we decide we would like to get to know you personally, you will receive an invitation from us for the first job interview. Here you will meet a representative from the department and the recruiter in a relaxed atmosphere.

What happens after the first job interview?

If the first appointment is positive, we will invite you to attend a second interview, whereby we usually also plan a tour of the relevant department.

When do I receive a decision?

After the second interview, we usually come to a decision quite quickly , so you do not have to wait too long.
